Why do you have a minimum order per flavour?

We have a minimum of 12 cupcakes per flavour, or 10 babycakes per flavour (20 babycakes minimum if ordering only babycakes).

Our cupcakes are made to order and it is not feasible for us to bake under that minimum per flavour without having a surplus cupcakes and babycakes. If you find the minimum is too large, pop into our store to grab a selection of cupcakes we have that day.

Yes! We hand deliver 6 days a week for your convenience. Complimentary delivery is offered to certain suburbs, and locations outside this zone incur a delivery fee. Please refer to the PDF.

Delivery days and times
Monday to Friday   9am to 12pm, 12pm to 3pm, 3pm to 5pm, or anytime (9am to 5pm).
Saturday   10am to 12pm, 12pm to 3pm, or anytime (10am to 3pm).

Please note, we do not offer delivery at specific times.

Orders may also be collected up from our store at Shop 6, 1 Tonkin Place, Girrawheen 6064 during our opening hours.


How do you calculate your delivery fees?

To clarify why we implement our surcharges for our delivery services, the delivery fee accounts for the distance of delivery from the store to the location which accounts for time, petrol, employees etc and we do not aim to make profit off the service and is solely for the customer’s convenience. To keep things fair we do also offer complementary delivery to specific zones that are in close vicinity of our store.

Hand delivery of your cupcakes at Baked 180 means they are delivered with the utmost care ensuring they arrive in the same condition as they were baked and packed with love by our staff. It also literally means delivered to your hands from the hands of our staff with a smile, not thrown over the fence, or left at the door (unless you’re not there – the latter, not the former). Complimentary text messages or emails are sent if your cupcakes are received by someone other than yourself for peace of mind.


What if I want to change or cancel my order?

If you need to change or cancel your order, please call us as soon as you can at 6110 0222. Orders must be cancelled 24-48 hours before your set delivery time. Sometimes events can happen that are out of your control and we will try to understand each individual’s circumstance.

*Credit will only be applied at Baked 180’s discretion depending on individual circumstances.

Do you sell gluten free and /or vegan cupcakes?

We certainly do! We want everyone to enjoy our cupcakes so we experimented with different recipes and succeeded with a handful of flavours. Check out what we have to offer at the vegan and gluten free section of our website. We try our best not to cross-contaminate however, we bake our vegan and/or gluten free cupcakes within a kitchen that also bakes with non-vegan and gluten products, and therefore we cannot guarantee they are 100% vegan and gluten free. Please keep this in mind when purchasing our vegan and/or gluten free cupcakes.


Are your cupcakes bakes in a nut-free and allergy-free environment?

Unfortunately, we bake using whole nuts and nut-based products such as, peanuts, walnuts, and hazelnuts; therefore we cannot guarantee our cupcakes are 100% nut-free, or baked in a nut-free environment. Again, we do our utmost to ensure there is no cross-contamination however there is always a possibility of our cupcakes containing traces of nuts. If you do have any allergies or concerns when placing an order, let us know when doing so and we will make sure it is communicated throughout the bakery.


How long do your cupcakes last and how do I store them?

Our cupcakes are best eaten the day you receive or purchase them. If you do wish to keep them for longer, store the cupcakes in an airtight container or the packaging we provide for up to 2 days at room temperature. Do not refrigerate them, as the cake will dry out and become very dense. To keep them longer than 4 days, just keep them in an airtight container and freeze. Before consuming, let the cupcakes come to room temperature.


How can I provide feedback?

There is always room for improvement, and we are open to any constructive criticism and encourage all our customers to provide us with their valuable feedback! You can do this by calling us, emailing, or leaving a comment on our Facebook or Instagram.

If you ever have a negative experience with our customer service or our cupcakes, we would prefer to resolve these personally as we take them very seriously. Call or email us to let us know what has happened and we will try our best to satisfy your needs.


Are your cupcakes baked fresh?

Yes! We bake the cupcakes on the day you acquire them, even if it means waking up extra early to bake them for you. This way, you have freshly baked cupcakes that taste fresh.


What payment methods do you offer?

We accept card payment, PayPal, and direct deposit. Payment is required prior to delivery or pick up. Once you place an order, a Baked 180 team member will be in touch. If we can schedule your order in, you will receive a tax invoice and payment can be made via credit card over the phone, or our bank details and a direct link to PayPal can be located on the invoice. To make payment over the phone, please call 6110 0222 and reference your name or invoice number.


Do you hire out cupcake stands?

Clear acrylic stands are available for hire for your special event. The tallest tower we offer is 8 tiers which can hold approximately 150 cupcakes. However, you may also choose from 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 tiered towers. Please be advised cupcake stands can only be hired with a cupcake order and not on their own.


What makes you different to other cupcake stores?

One of the factors that makes us stand out from other cupcake bakeries is that we ensure that only the freshest ingredients are used. We use only real ingredients and try to incorporate minimal artificial flavourings and decorations. We take pride in creating a perfect balance between creaminess and sweetness with all of our cupcakes and their frostings. Moreover, we also offer a large variety of flavours for you to choose from, inclusive of more classic flavours like vanilla and chocolate, as well as signature cupcakes like tiramisu or maple bacon.

In short, our quality ingredients like Belgian chocolate and cocoa powder,  creamy New Zealand butter, seasonal produce, free range eggs and Heilala vanilla extract are what separates us from other cupcakeries.


What ingredients do you use in your vegan and gluten-free cupcakes?

Everyone should be able to enjoy our cupcakes and that’s why we have included vegan and/or gluten free cupcakes on our menu. We are still in the process of creating more flavours for a wider range. Below are a list of the basic ingredients we use to create our vegan and gluten free cupcakes. We take extra special care in cleaning all our equipment before baking our gluten free cupcakes again even though they were washed beforehand. However, you must take into consideration we bake these cupcakes in the same kitchen where non-vegan and non-gluten free cupcakes have been baked. We do try our best to not cross-contaminate, therefore we cannot claim our vegan and gluten-free cupcakes are 100% that.
